When your advertising is good, your business will benefit from the value of your marketing. So what makes a good ad?

A catchy headline

Offer some kind of benefit in your headline, it gives people a reason to be interested. Try to avoid overused words and catch phrases. Use words in your titles that will draw the user in to your site. Ex: Revealing, incredible, how-to, announcing etc... Use questions when making a title. When you're asking a question, the reader stops to mentally answer it, which increases the chance that they will stop to visit your site. Make your title tags short, snappy, and easy to read and in a way that makes the reader believe that the site will help them in some way or solve a problem.

Be clear and concise

Be clear on what you are promoting. Let the reader know whether you are offering a service or a product. Give just enough information to catch their attention, without giving away everything, increasing the chance they will stop to visit your site.

Visuals

Visuals are a big part of getting the attention of your target audience. Again, you dont want to show ALL of the products features but you want to pique the curiosity of the reader. For those of you who have access to visuals and banners, use them!

Im really glad you took the time to check out my blog. Id like to tell you a little about myself.

I am a self employed stay at home mom of 5 beautiful children and I am also a part time college student pursing my degree in law.
